Best Barbeque Sauce Recipe Ever

Today we’re going to cover the topic on how to prepare the best all-around barbeque sauce which we can use for almost, well, everything – pork, chicken and beef!

First, it’s nice to know that there are several types of barbeques sauce that we commonly use. The sauce can be tomato sauce-based, mustard-based or vinegar-based. This can also be thick and sticky or thin and runny. BBQ sauce can be used all throughout – before, during and even after the meat has been done. So, check out the recipe below and try it for yourself!

Secret Recipe

BEST ALL-AROUND BBQ SAUCE

1 medium-sized onion, minced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Sour Mash Whiskey
2 cups ketchup
1/3 cup wine vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sorghum molasses
black pepper (depends on your taste but ½ tsp is just right)
salt (depends on how much you’d like but start with ½ tsp)
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Saute the garlic and onion with the whiskey until soft and translucent. This may take 10 minutes. Then add all the rest of the ingredients. For the Tabasco sauce, just add more if you want it to be spicier. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes. Keep stirring it often so it doesn’t burn. When done, you can use a strainer to remove onion and garlic bits if you want a smoother sauce. Then refrigerate for a few days before you use it. This allows the flavors to blend and mellow. Usually, the sauce gets better with age.

You can try this recipe for several times. When you already get the hang of it, you can start combining ingredients. A little plus here and a little minus there. Eventually, you’ll get the taste you’re looking for. Just give it time and you’ll finally have your own recipe!
